MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2019-05-23T00:05:08
The high energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) at GEO is expected to be at moderate to normal background levels throughout, due to the persisting background to slightly elevated solar winds. The corresponding electron fluence is therefore expected to remain below the Active threshold throughout the period. This is supported by the REFM model, and recurrence which both forecast the continuation of the current low levels.
