MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2018-04-22T00:06:14
The high energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) is likely to remain above the Active or Very Active threshold through the period. The corresponding fluence is very likely to remain above the Active threshold for much of the period, and may rise above the Very Active threshold at times with recent flux levels above 20000 pfu. This is supported by the REFM model output which suggests Very Active levels, and by persistence with peak fluence levels around 2e9 integrated pfu on the previous 27-day cycle.
