MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2021-02-18T00:03:06
High energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) is expected to remain at background or moderate levels through the next three days, with a small enhancement due to the slightly elevated solar wind. A decrease is then probable due to any increase geomagnetic activity and strong solar wind which is expected to deform the radiation belts away from the GOES-16 spacecraft.
Consequently, electron fluence values are expected to remain below the Active threshold over the next 4 days.
