MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2020-05-24T00:01:19
The high energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) as measured by GOES-16 is expected to remain at background levels much of the time, though perhaps reaching moderate values on diurnal peaks, especially on days 3 and 4 following the potential connection with the unnumbered coronal hole. The corresponding 24-hour fluence is forecast to remain well below the Active threshold, this is confirmed by the REFM and the 27-day recurrence, both indicative of very low levels off fluence.
