MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2018-08-01T00:29:34
Electron flux values at GEO are now mostly at moderate to background levels with diurnal peaks remaining below high levels. With 24 hours fluence values now below the Active threshold, and no significant solar wind features that would cause further enhancements expected, the chance of further Active fluence is now much reduced. A small risk has been maintained due to potential slight enhancements from any high speed stream from CH12, however all indications, including those from REFM, are that the downward trend in fluence values will continue.
