MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2018-07-19T00:09:08
The flux of high energy electrons (greater than 2MeV) at geosynchronous Earth orbit is expected to be at background levels, with peaks to moderate levels possible from day 2 (20th). This is due to an anticipated enhancement in the solar wind from coronal hole 10 high speed stream. The 24-hour electron fluence is expected to remain below the Active threshold (1e8 integrated pfu) throughout the period.
