MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2018-05-20T00:09:30
The high energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) is expected to be at normal background to moderate levels through much of the period, with diurnal peaks close to high threshold.
The corresponding 24 hour electron fluence is forecast to remain below the Active threshold through much of the period. A slight rising trend is currently indicated by REFM output. During the previous rotation around 23 April the fluence remained at relatively steady levels for 2 or 3 days and then declined in the couple of days thereafter.
