MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit

Forecaster summary - Issued 2020-11-28T00:01:32

The high energy electron flux (greater than 2 MeV) has been fluctuating between moderate and high levels over the last three days, reaching its peak during the diurnal cycle though slowly reducing in intensity, due to a weak connection with CH98. With solar winds expected to slowly decline, the high energy electron flux will most likely continue to decrease and become confined to background and moderate levels over the following days. The corresponding 24-hour electron fluence has therefore very little chance to exceed the Active (1e8 integrated pfu) threshold.
