MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2020-11-07T00:29:25
High energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) has been oscillating between high and mainly moderate levels through the last 24 hours, but the most recent diurnal peak was at a lower level than the previous peak, suggesting a declining trend. This is supported by the apparent falling trend in the high speed stream. There is however a chance of the high threshold being reached later in the period due to the residual effects of the coronal hole high speed stream.
Electron fluence values are showing a falling trend, but given the chance of residual coronal hole effects, there is a chance of reaching the Active (1e8 integrated pfu) threshold.
