Forecaster summary - Issued 2019-08-24T00:09:39

The high energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) is expected to fluctuate diurnally between background and moderate levels through days 1-3 (24th-26th). Any slight enhancements in the solar wind may lead to an increase in electron counts. On day 4 (27th) the anticipated arrival of a High Speed Stream from CH56/-  is expected to result in an increase in the Electron count with the High 1000pfu threshold exceeded. This will increase the electron fluence however this is not expected to be significant and the high energy electron fluence is expected to remain below the Active threshold (1e8 integrated pfu) throughout.
