MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2019-01-26T00:26:19
High energy electron flux values at GEO have now risen in response to the high speed stream of coronal hole 68, and are expected to remain at moderate to high levels for much of days 1 and 2, before flux values gradually start to decay on days 3 and 4. This would be consistent with the previous rotation, and expected to lead to Active fluence levels (greater than 1e8 24hour integrated pfu) developing by the end of day 1, and then persisting day 2 and likely day 3. This is supported by current REFM projections.
