MOSWOC high energy electron forecast for geostationary orbit
Forecaster summary - Issued 2021-10-01T00:27:20
High energy electron flux (greater than 2MeV) values are likely to remain at background levels, perhaps with the diurnal max peaking briefly into moderate levels. This will likely be subdued by the current elevated activity from the CME that left the earth on the 28th and will be effecting the Earth during the early part of day 1 (01st).
The corresponding 24-hour electron fluence is expected to remain below the Active (1e8 integrated pfu) threshold, but a rising trend is likely to take place through the period, especially toward day 3 and day 4 as the current suppressing effects wane.
